Alex is the Corporate Brand Director at NorCal Cannabis Company, one of the largest vertically integrated cannabis operators in California California. With a strong background in strategic partnerships, business development, and brand development, Alex joins the cannabis industry after 10 years in travel, most recently at Tripadvisor where he led global business development and co-branding initiatives with brands like Google, Kayak, Groupon, Yelp, and more. Alex has received industry recognition, including recognition as a Phocuswright 'Young Global Leader,' advises a number of early stage companies, and is a fervent advocate for refugee rights having worked closely with the local Oakland IRC branch.
