Carrie Solomon

Carrie Solomon is the co-founder and CEO of Leif Goods and Greater Goods. Prior to launching and leading brands in the cannabis and hemp spaces, Carrie worked for over fourteen years as an award winning creative strategist, director and designer in pivotal roles from start-ups in the technology, food and and arts sector, to large corporations and agencies on the East and West coasts. She received a B.A. in Philosophy from Bard College in 1998, and an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts in 2006.

Carrie has been featured in numerous press outlets to speak about her experiences in cannabis both as a female founder and as a designer. She has commented on trends and the realities of this ever-changing market in publications like Forbes, Business Insider and Surface Magazine; and has provided content for features on Leif Goods in Bon Appetit, Portland Monthly, NW Travel and Life, and more. She was also selected to represent her companies as part of the Initiative, a business accelerator for female founders created to train and fund women in the cannabis space. 

She lives and works in Portland, OR with her business partner and husband plus three entertaining and energetic cats. Carrie spends her free time appreciating nature and enjoying the bounties of the food culture of the Pacific Northwest, while continuing to innovate in the infused chocolate and confections sector of the cannabis world at large.
