Sue Sisley

President of Scottsdale Research Institute/Field To Healed Foundation

Dr. Sue Sisley MD is an Arizona-based internal medicine physician. Sue is also known for her pioneering research and serving as volunteer medical director for over 40 state Cannabis Industry operating licenses from Hawaii to New Jersey since 2010. Sue is fighting for quality REAL-WORLD cannabis samples to conduct clinical trials. She is President of Scottsdale Research Institute & best know for FDA controlled trials with Vets & 1st responders examining safety/efficacy of inhaled marijuana flower for treating severe PAIN & PTSD and recently publishing several articles on Cannabis for opioid reduction/substitution with her team at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Sisley even levied 3 FEDERAL lawsuits against the DOJ/DEA over the past 2 years to remove barriers blocking Cannabis research. The first 2 lawsuits were successfully settled out of court — 3rd lawsuit is still making its way through 9th circuit court and gaining traction (with her attorneys awarded oral arguments in June🥳).

Dr. Sisley serves as President of Field to Healed Foundation, a 501c3 dedicated to studying botanical medicines for veterans & police/fire/EMTs to evaluate the safety/efficacy of cannabis & psilocybin mushrooms for treating PTSD, pain, and potential for opioid reduction/substitution. She is currently being trained as a MAPS’ MDMA therapist so SRI lab can provide MDMA-assisted therapy with PTSD patients thru FDAs Expanded Access provision.

SRI has submitted Phase II trial to FDA/IRB for using natural psilocybin mushrooms for treating both PTSD symptoms and pain.  SRI requested DEA SCHEDULE 1 Manufacturing license to cultivate our own psilocybin mushrooms within our lab and expect approval by the summer of 2021.  These federally legal mushrooms will be grown in bioreactors in conjunction with PBC called MIMOSA led by many luminaries including Amanda Fielding.
