Ben Gleib

Comedian

TBS called Ben Gleib one of “the funniest comedians working today”. He’s the Host and Head Writer of the Emmy nominated game show “Idiotest”, on Game Show Network and Pluto TV, formerly on NETFLIX. He was one of the stars of “Chelsea Lately” on E! And he’s in a new show coming out on Disney+ in the fall. He also is a big advocate for cannabis.

His podcast “Last Week on Earth” on Kevin Smith’s Smodcast Network debuted at #9 on iTunes Comedy, and was #1 on stitcher for 20 straight weeks. He also stars in the “Jay & Silent Bob Super Groovy Cartoon Movie”, as super villain Newsgroup, who tries to kill Bluntman & Chronic. He’s a regular guest on “Getting Doug With High”, with Doug Benson, and as a presidential candidate in 2020, as part of his platform of prison reform and legalizing cannabis nationwide, he made history as the first candidate ever to publicly use cannabis, on an episode of Doug’s show. This landed him on the front page of HighTimes.com.

You’ve seen Gleib on “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, alongside Ben Affleck, Chris Hemsworth and Rosario Dawson in the “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” movie, on “The Tonight Show”, @Midnight on Comedy Central, and starring in his hilarious Showtime hour stand-up comedy special “Ben Gleib: Neurotic Gangster“, now on Amazon Prime. He was called the #3 “Innovator that changed comedy in 2020” for creating the world’s premiere virtual comedy venue, Nowhere Comedy during the pandemic, and was recently profiled in the New York Times.

Gleib was also a regular on the “Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda”. He hosts the cult hit “Social Distancing Social Club” online four times a week with Steve Hofstetter, Chris Bowers, Rachel Gallagher & Jodie Sweetin, and does a monthly virtual show at Nowhere Comedy on Zoom with the improv legend from “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Greg Proops. As well as his own weekly virtual show “Gleib Off The Top: Crowd Work & Improvised Madness”, and he always smokes marijuana on camera during both of those shows. Gleib feels it’s important to normalize it’s use whenever feasible.

He’s also the voice of Marshall the Sloth in “Ice Age” and the voice of Dali in “The Book of Life”. Esquire has called him “one of the next big things in comedy.”
