Born and raised in the streets of Staten Island, NY – Corey Woods – Better known as Raekwon “The Chef,” is an original founding member of the legendary hip hop collective, Wu-Tang Clan. Not only a fearless wordsmith and successful solo artist, Chef is also credited with inspiring the movement of underworld drug tales through his multi-million selling classic album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Today, The Chef has solidified himself as a trustworthy figure in Hip-Hop culture and has set his sights on instilling his unique style and knowledge to the growing industry of cannabis to enact genuine CHANGE.
In 2018 Raekwon co-founded Hashstoria with his partners in Oregon, playing an integral role in their growth within the state as well as expansion to new states including New Jersey in late 22. Initially started as a chain of dispensaries, Hashstoria is evolving into a house of brands and platform focused on premier quality product, immersive consumer experiences, and building communities through the power of cannabis.
As an investor and champion for CitizenGrown, Raekwon is looking to usher in a new era of reform in the industry by reimagining what a truly equitable system could look like through technology and social justice. Compliments of the Chef will be debuting Summer 22 in Michigan alongside and in partnership with Detroit hero Chris Webber's Player’s Only brand. Additionally, you can can catch Raekwon on tour with Wu-Tang Clan and Nas late this summer throughout the US.
